Button Labels and Chiral Atoms

Button Labels and Chiral Atoms

Before I start, Great drawing utility! My wallet thanks you for not having to purchase chemdraw.

I did have a few questions though:
First about button labels. When I scroll my mouse curser over a button and hold it in place for a few seconds and small empty box appears below the button. Using one of your previous versions there would be text in this box to let me know the function of the button. I am currently using the latest version (v1.2.0) on a PIII 1ghz with windows XP. Any suggestion on how to get the labels back?

Secondly, I was wondering if there is anyway to put an asterisk next to the atom(s) in a structure that are chiral?

Java Version

My Java version is:
Java Plug-in 1.5.0_10 Using JRE version 1.5.0_10 Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM

Regardless, it’s not a problem anymore. The tooltip labels function now. Perhaps just a glitch that self corrected by rebooting? Who knows. What I care about is that the program has been functioning perfectly and I am very satisfied with it.

Thanks again!

Hi Defrost, Thank you for

Hi Defrost,

Thank you for the compliment.

About the button tooltip labels, I have tested this on Windows 2000, XP and Vista and cannot reproduce the problem. What version of Java are you using?

About the asterisks, in a future version I will add a feature that will find stereocenters and label them appropriately, as this is done in the Razors (I will improve the functionality significantly though).

Let me know what version of Java you are using and/or if you have any other questions.

Thanks again,
Kevin
